After closing in 1893, the Predoi Copper Mine also found a new vocation in the 20th century.
The Sant’Ignazio CopperMine was transformed into the Mining Museum, which is managed as the Provincial Mining Museum. The Climatic Gallery and Health Center 
was set up in another part and is highly recommended for anyone who happens to suffer from respiratory disorders and/or allergies.
Visitors take the same train the miners used to go to the old vaults now known as galleries and gain some measure of relief from their disturbances from the ideal microclimatic conditions of the cavern in which therapy is performed.
